Floor Ambassador

Floor Ambassador
Munich | Full-time onsite | Embedded event team on a leading tech campus | German & English required
We are currently working with a global brand experience agency and building out an embedded event team for a modern campus for one of the world's leading technology companies.
It is a great set-up for a customer-focused professional who brings a welcoming energy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being the proactive, visible face of a premier corporate campus.

The role
This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you will serve as the friendly and helpful face of the campus event spaces, providing essential onsite support to event hosts, attendees, and the core Event Management team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless daily execution of campus events by being a readily available point of contact, acting as a floor runner, and swiftly addressing last-minute requests.

Working on the ground, you will coordinate closely with service line partners—including catering, AV, security, and room setup teams—to troubleshoot basic issues and keep event spaces running flawlessly.

What you will be doing
  • You will serve as the main, highly approachable point of contact on the floor, proactively offering assistance to clients, answering general venue questions, and providing wayfinding support for guests.
  • You will act as an efficient floor runner, executing last-minute requests from hosts and the Event Management team, while escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • You will liaise directly with internal service lines and vendors to facilitate quick operational resolutions and fulfill immediate host needs on the fly.
  • You will assist with basic room setups, equipment adjustments (moving tables, chairs, and light assets), and support guest registration and check-in processes.
  • You will manage the setup and distribution of event materials, including directional signage, stationary, guest badges, and promotional giveaways.
  • On event days, you will monitor spaces to ensure they remain tidy, organized, and well-maintained, while supporting post-event breakdown and space transitions.

What we are looking for
  • You are looking for an entry-level opportunity. No previous experience is required, though some initial exposure or a background in customer service, hospitality, front desk operations, or event support is a definite plus.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service orientation and a genuine desire to help others.
  • You understand the importance of operational presentation: maintaining clean surroundings, managing guest flow, and coordinating quickly with local support teams.
  • You are highly proactive, resourceful, and able to think on your feet, with the capacity to handle multiple concurrent floor requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent English and German skills, giving you the confidence to communicate effectively with local service partners, international stakeholders, and campus guests.

Practical details
  • This is a full-time onsite role based within specific event spaces on the campus.
  • The role requires flexibility around event schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and potentially weekends as required.
  • The position involves active physical delivery, including remaining on your feet and moving around the campus for prolonged periods, navigating tight environments, and being comfortable with light physical activity (moving and arranging furniture or lifting and transporting event boxes up to 10kg/22lbs).

Why this role?
This is a standout opportunity to kickstart a career in event delivery within a polished corporate campus environment. It would suit someone who brings a positive attitude, loves active, varied workdays, and takes pride in delivering exceptional, welcoming experiences for a leading global brand.
