A global brand experience and event delivery agency is looking for an experienced Senior Event Manager to join its embedded on-site team at the modern Munich campus of one of the world’s leading technology companies.

The role

This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership role for a seasoned event professional who knows how to make high-profile and complex campus events run smoothly - from initial planning through to final wrap-up.
You will be the main point of contact for event hosts, managing a diverse portfolio of events across different business areas, formats, and levels of stakeholder visibility. Events typically range from 50 to 300+ guests and vary in complexity, audience, and operational requirements.
You will work closely with internal service teams, facilities, and external partners while acting as an on-site mentor to guide, train, and support other team members.

What you will be doing

  • You will lead consultative planning meetings with event hosts to understand strategic objectives, agendas, room set-ups, catering requirements, technical production needs, and premium branded merchandise.
  • You will advise hosts on creative and practical solutions, evaluate venue spaces, and ensure appropriate room allocation and efficient use of space.
  • You will coordinate all operational details with internal service teams and external suppliers, managing timelines, documentation, and updates in event management systems.
  • On event days, you will oversee on-site execution, coordinate support with the Event Service Specialist, and perform quality checks to ensure smooth delivery.
  • You will conduct post-event debriefs, gather feedback, and deliver structured wrap-up reports to support continuous improvement.
  • You will act as an on-site mentor, leading group meetings, training new employees, and sharing knowledge to help the team work smarter and more consistently.

What we are looking for
  • You have around 5–7 years of experience in event planning, corporate conference services, or a senior event delivery role.
  • You have a proven track record of working cross-functionally with high-profile stakeholders, senior executives, internal teams, and external agencies in a fast-paced environment.
  • You understand both the practical and strategic details of event delivery, including complex logistics, venue management, digital event platforms, and event databases.
  • You are highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple complex events at the same time.
  • You are fluent in English and German and confident navigating both local operations and global client relationships.

Practical details
  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in Munich, with the flexibility to support events across the campus as needed.
  • The role requires flexibility around event schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • The role involves hands-on operational delivery, including prolonged standing, working in tight storage environments, and supporting with manual logistics, including lifting up to 15 kg / 33 lbs.
