Our client is a global media-tech platform who is redefining audio-first storytelling.
WHAT'S THE ROLE?
- Build and curate a high-quality Crime portfolio aligned with popular tropes and audience demand.
- Lead original scripted series from concept to production.
- Review scripts and outlines, provide feedback, and manage a team of writers and creative leads.
- Develop new show concepts, onboard writers, and ensure timely script delivery.
- Work cross-functionally to source ideas from market insights and track series performance.
- Hire, mentor, and upskill talent while embedding best practices across the team.
- Manage a high-volume editorial pipeline with strong planning and delivery controls.
- Drive adoption of AI tools to scale and elevate content quality.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT?
- 15+ years in fiction/editorial leadership (founder or senior corporate leader)
- Deep expertise and passion for Crime storytelling
- Strong instincts for long-form serialized narratives
- Experience adapting web novels/books/comics into serialized drama
- Proven experience leading writers/creative teams
- Excitement about tech-enabled creativity

- Leadership skills
- A clear communication style - in German and English
- Fluent German + professional English
