JOB TITLE: Mid or Senior UI designer (German speaking)

Salary: 50k-60k

Our client is an independent digital agency specializing in digital strategy, content, design, and brand experience. It has been operating for over 20 years and is manager-owned and independent.
WHAT'S THE ROLE?
- Contribute to the visual conception of intuitive, user-focused interfaces and scalable design systems by developing layouts and reusable elements.
- Build interactive and animated prototypes to demonstrate user flows and interactions using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Manage the design handover and implementation process, ensuring high quality standards are met up to the final release.
- Communicate design outcomes clearly to stakeholders and assist in facilitating workshops as well as usability testing sessions.
- Independently organize, maintain, and document design files and style guides within Figma, including component libraries and usage guidelines.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT?
- You bring a solid ability to think conceptually, paired with a deep understanding of user experience principles.
- You are comfortable working autonomously within interdisciplinary teams and collaborating closely across different roles.
- You have completed formal education in graphic design, communication design, or a comparable field, along with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in digital projects.
- You are highly skilled in industry-standard interface design and prototyping software, including tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud.
- You stay curious about new technologies and actively follow emerging developments and trends in the digital landscape.
- You are confident in presenting your ideas, clearly explaining design choices, and advocating for your concepts when working with stakeholders.
- You maintain high expectations for your own work, with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and overall quality.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- proficient in UI design and prototyping tools (Figma, XD, Adobe CC)
- Works with a detail-oriented, quality-driven mindset
- Has strong conceptual and UX understanding.
- Has hands-on experience using pattern libraries and design systems
- Speaks excellent German and English
