WHAT’S THE ROLE?
As an ACD UX/UI Designer, you will play a critical role in our design team, focusing on creating intuitive, user-centered designs. You will set the creative vision and direction across a range of projects, guiding them from discovery through to launch and continuous optimization. Your expertise will be essential in developing wireframes and high fidelity prototypes that align with our client's design system. This position requires a blend of creative and technical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Group Head of Experience Design, you will lead the creative and strategic development of user experience (UX) design initiatives, ensuring that all projects deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
Direct the creation and iteration of UX deliverables, including user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes, to effectively communicate design strategies and user interactions across various platforms and devices.
Foster a collaborative environment between the UX design team and other departments, such as UI designers, developers, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to project development and execution.
Advocate for the user by conducting and utilizing research, including user testing, interviews, and analytics, to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of all creative endeavors.
Champion the adoption and implementation of the latest UX design methodologies, tools, and best practices within the team, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.
Present and defend UX design decisions to stakeholders and clients, articulating the rationale behind design choices and how they align with project objectives and user needs.
Guide and mentor junior to mid-level UX designers, providing constructive feedback, fostering professional growth, and cultivating a strong, user-centered design culture within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the creative industry, with a track record of leading teams and managing client relationships.
Mandatory proficiency in English and expert skills in UI (User Interface) design, including applications, mobile, and responsive design.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with UX and development teams, providing effective leadership and ensuring seamless integration of creative and technical aspects.
A portfolio that showcases a deep understanding of creative disciplines, user experience and UI design, with a focus on digital platforms and products from initial concept to post-delivery.
Experience in leading and nurturing teams, fostering creativity and collaboration across disciplines.
Strong background in client management, able to foster positive relationships and communicate creative vision effectively.
Proven adaptability to the changing landscape of marketing and technology, with an ability to incorporate new trends into creative solutions.
