Junior-Midweight Artworker
Location: Central / South London
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
 
Our client is an independently owned design agency with offices and joint ventures around the world. Specialising in the design, build and implementation of innovative display, retail environments and consumer engagements for a large number of premium brands based in the UK and Worldwide. 
 

The Role:
 
You will be working on a diverse range of design briefs and will be:

• Taking pre-existing creative designs through to final artwork and print
• Re-sizing and reconfiguring of existing assets/visuals
• Producing high-quality artwork consistent with the brand guidelines
• Working with the project managers, 3D design team, concept team and fellow graphic design/artworkers to ensure briefs are met

 
Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone with a keen eye for quality and detail
• We would like to see a strong portfolio, ideally within the retail design sector
• It is important you have the ability to work both autonomously and alongside other designers, project managers and directors
• You should have the ability to work in an informal environment within a creative company
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of retail furniture and travel retail design, however we are a willing to look at associated design backgrounds and graduates
• It is essential that you have a competent understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Be creatively aware in terms of graphical and typographical layout in order to finesse layouts if required
• Be able to communicate well, respond and work quickly in a fast -paced environment
• Be able to adapt to different challenges and follow the direction of senior designers
• Organise, manage and correctly name files and folders on our server
• Have an understanding of pre-press and printing processes
• Be able to think spatially when applying designs to reali life environments
• Have good typography and skills and be able to re-touch and manipulate images
